Research Areas

Biomedical and mechanical engineering, with particular focus in:

  • Mechanical measurements for the characterization of therapeutic devices;
  • Development of indirect measurement methods of distributed physical variables to support control strategies design of an easy-to clean coffee machine;
  • Non-contact measurement of cardiac activity by means of laser Doppler vibrometry

 

Capsule Bio

Gloria Cosoli was born in Chiaravalle (AN), Italy, in May 1989.
She got the Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering (with honors) in July 2011 and the Master’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (with honors) in July 2013 at the Polytechnic University of Marche (UNIVPM, Italy). She got a Ph.D in Industrial Engineering Sciences in March 2017 at the Department of Industrial Engineering and Mathematical Sciences (DIISM) at UNIVPM.
At present, she is a research fellow at DIISM.
