Research Areas

She is involved in research activities about mechanical measurements and biomedical instrumentation. She is interested in temperature and humidity measurements in domestic and healthcare environments, non contact measurements of physiological parameters on preterm infants, development of ultrasonic and electromagnetic systems for visually impaired users.

Capsule Bio

Ilaria Ercoli received the Laurea degree (cum laude) in Biomedical Engineering and the PhD degree from the Università Politecnica delle Marche, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. Her Laurea’s thesis entitled “La misura senza contatto di parametri respiratori: sviluppo del sistema di misura e analisi dei dati” has been developed at the DIISM (dipartimento di Ingegneria Industriale e scienze matematiche) of the Univerisità Politecnica delle Marche. Her PhD course was carried out in collaboration with the European project AXIOMA and the neonatal intensive cara unit Salesi (Ancona).

Since 2013, she has been a PostDoctoral researcher at the DIISM of the Università Politecnica delle Marche.
